Alejandro Jauregui wins a cash prize of $140,665 at MSPT Sycuan Casino

At the inaugural MSPt Showdown Series of $1,100 main event hosted at San Diego’s Sycuan Casino, 31-year old Alejandro Jauregui, a leading poker dealer, won the title and cash prize of $140,665.

Jauregui, who hails from the city named Salinas, California, is an expert poker player, and by far, this is the highest cash prize won by the player. But, according to The Hendon Mob, Jauregui had a pair of some amount. This is because when he plays, he ends up grinding cash games.

In this week of MSPT, friends from all over the country came together in San Diego. Looking at this, he arrived on Sunday and shot the fire. He is currently the MSPT champ and won the six-figure fat amount.

On Day 2 of the event, 80 players returned to the action. Satoshi Tanaka, Joe Zona, along with Terence Reid, well when king-jack suited failed to overcome.

Different players in the tournament fell short of the final- table, including Adam Friefan, 1c chip leader Trung Le, MSPT legend DJ Buckley and others. During the first weekend of the stop, MSPT Sycuan Casino $360 Regional Event attracted more than 1000 runners through flights, but only 131 of the total return on the 2nd-day finale. During this first weekend play, chip leader Armando Mesina, a retired Navy veteran, won the trophy along with $33,329 in prize money. Before this win, Mesina grabbed the prize money of $83,444 by playing a live tournament.

Within 45 minutes of the game, day 2, 19 players fell short, including the 2020 WSOP.com $1000 NLHE Champ Nahrain Tamero. The MSPT will continue to stay live over the following weekend with South Dakota Championship 2021 at the Silverado- Franklin Casino in the Deadwood.

In this 11-event series, there will be more than 3000 entrants at the trophy event, along with other participants for satellites and cash games. For these trophy events, $1,288,650 was awarded, making this event a million-dollar fest.
