WSOP continues its consecutive events as the 3,200 dollars No-Limit Hold’em High Roller became the latest one to conclude. In addition, the event brought a new gold bracelet winner in the form of Daniel Lazarus, who won the event and secured 205,347 dollars.
The event proved to be Daniel’s biggest career win topping his 22,334 dollars win in 2020. Daniel earned the amount after securing the 54th spot in WSOP 10,000 dollars buy-in main event.
The No-Limit event rewarded the top 36 players with several big shots entering the event. Ankush Mandavia (bracelet winner) secured the 36th spot to earn 5,639 dollars. Dan Smith (winner of World Poker Tour) and Bryan Piccioli also won 5,639 dollars for the 28th and 25th spot, respectively.
Alx Foxen and Nick Schulman (three-time bracelet champion) won 6,445 dollars each for the 23rd and 19th spot subsequently. Ben Yu, known for winning three bracelets, placed 16th and won 7,573 dollars, while Barry Hutter placed 13th to win 9,103 dollars. Finally, the top ten contenders emerged after Joe Kuether went out at the 11th spot to win 11,198 dollars.
After that, Jim Collopy went out with his A-10 losing to David Peters’ A-J to earn 18,126 dollars for the 8th spot. Then, with a preflop coin flip, Jeremiah Williams went out at seventh place and won 24,249 dollars.
This was when Lazrus landed his first final table knockout by beating Felix Van De Put. Felix scored 32,385 dollars for the sixth spot. David Peters went out at the fifth spot despite drawing two Aces to score 43,744 dollars.
Lazarus landed another elimination by beating Michael Marone for the fourth place and 61,645 dollars prize. Shortly after, Buzgon took the chip lead after beating Brett Apter for the third spot and 87,246 dollars.
However, Lazarus managed to fight back in the final hand and beat Buzgon to win the event. Buzgon won 126,882 dollars for the second spot, while Faniel earned 205,347 dollars. With the win, Daniel Lazarus has finally secured his first bracelet. There are more WSOP events on the way, so Daniel will get more chances to increase the count.
