Ultra Integrates Theta Network’s Live Streaming Service

Who would have ever thought of making money by streaming gaming sessions live or watching other’s live gaming streams? Well, this seems to be coming true with the announcement of the blockchain-enabled games distribution platform Ultra to integrate blockchain-powered video streaming network Theta Network’s live streaming service.

Considering the growth potential of the gaming market, Ultra is planning to expand its service offerings. As a part of this, it is creating a common platform where gamers can not only play and stream their gaming sessions live but also trade and earn rewards for doing so.

With Theta Network’s live streaming service, Ultra users will be able to earn UOS (Ultra) and TFUEL (Theta Fuel) tokens for relaying gaming streams. These tokens can be traded for buying games or non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on Ultra.

According to Ultra’s co-CEO Nicolas Gilot, Ultra will incorporate Theta protocol in its games distribution technology and leverage Theta Network’s streamers to promote its games, NFTs, esports tournament tickets, and more. Also, Ultra plans to stream esports tournaments via Theta Network, he informed.

Theta Labs’ CEO, Mitch Liu, believes that this partnership will drive the adoption of Theta protocol as well as help Theta Network reach new audiences.

Going forward with its service expansion plan, Ultra has been continuously adding more and more partners such as Ubisoft and AMD. Its integration of Theta Network is just a step forward.

This partnership has mutual benefits for both Theta Network and Ultra as Theta streamers will promote Ultra’s games by airdropping Ultra NFTs to their viewers while earning revenue by streaming or watching live streams by receiving UOS.
